Its a workhorse of a mixer, and it can take a beating. However, the slowest mixing setting is way too fast, and the fastest setting isn't fast enough. Not quite enough speed control.

The Good: Seems like a well-made, rugged mixer, much more sturdy than the comparable models I've used. Works well, attachments reach to the bottom/sides of the bowl, plenty of power. The Bad: The white paint finish is thin and seems poorly applied, it flakes off extremely easily, I can even flake it off with my fingernail. Granted this is a budget mixer, but at this price it should have a more durable finish.

I’m very disappointed in the quality of this mixer. We are replacing a higher-end countertop mixer for our busy little bagel shop and I really wish I had spent extra money to buy the same model we had before. This mixer feels light weight, not super powerful despite the horsepower, and with less-sturdy mixing implements. My residential-grade KitchenAid mixer at home has a more sturdy whisk attachment than this model. Also, the machine is already flashing an error code and we have only been using it for a week! I’m really regretting this purchase, and have always typically been happy with Avantco model products. Do careful homework before purchasing this model.

Good purchase. Stronger body, sturdy, quiter than kitchenaid 8qt. Agree with the other reviewer that the fastest setting isn't fast enough. Overall Its a good mixer.

In less than a year with minor use it just stopped operating. We have an E9 error. I submitted a claim online but they don't answer the telephone.

First one lasted one year. Second one lasted one month. All we do is mix cake donut batter, we're not doing anything heavy duty here. These just aren't very durable. For the price I guess its ok but Ill probably spring for a higher end mixer next.

DO NOT BUY! I purchased this mixer to make muffin batters and cookie doughs. The lowest setting is not slow enough. If you add more than 1 teaspoon (literally) of flour at a time, the flour shoots everywhere. To make matters worse, the design of the stand itself is impossible to clean, making the flour that just shot out the sides, stuck in the corners. I did see other reviewers make these comments, and figured it couldn't be that bad. It WAS that bad, do not buy if you'll be using flour. Webstaurant will not take your used item back.

This a good mixer. I wish there was more control or more speeds. but the timer is a great function. We have six of the in our classroom.

A well made mixer. Does everything as advertised.

This mixer is a chefs dream. I make a famous pickle bread and this mixer helps when I am preparing the dill, dough. I use this mixer for all types of cooking... if I were to dive into details I could possibly write a book on how great this mixer is.

Seems to work great. We will see if it holds up to continued use.
