Scratch and Dent AvaMix CFP5D Continuous Feed Food Processor with 5 Discs - 3/4 hp

Not impressed. I mainly bought to process 50 pounds of onions a day. It constantly gets plugged up causing you to tear it down to clean out the blades. Makes a terrible mess. It takes longer to clean up than anything. I can't find replacement blades. You have to buy the whole blade unit. After using for a year now, I wish I wouldn't have bought it.

Was very messy and hard to clean. Burnt out of me after a few days of use. Was told i could not return just a waste of money.

Really bad machine don’t buy it We use this one to cut carrots it blocked the blade and we use this one cut zucchini it blocked the blade as well It also makes lots of mess , also the size it cuts very tiny Not recommend don’t waste your money and your time

This has been a great addition to the kitchen for us. It allows for us to get a lot made in a short amount of time

this does not dice well at all. peppers and onions get stuck in the slicing blade and in the dicer blade, and the few that come out are "mashed"... no clean cuts.

We put this to light duty and it stopped working in under a year. Not worth the money.

Its almost a year and this unit works flawless, reasonable price, and very happy with my purchase.

If I could put zero stars it would still be too many! I’ve been trying for two years to dice, carrots, potatoes, onions and celery. It essentially makes a mess of each of them! The mess is terrible. The dicing is uneven, the machine jams! Do not purchase. Mine’s going to the junk yard.

I would be very careful before you purchase this processor. We purchased it based on what we read however it does not work on half of the vegetables that it says it does. Complete waste of money!!!

We have a pickle business. We was cutting cucumbers by hand before we bought this machine. Since we been using this machine it has cut our processing time in half.

Got the machine to julienne vegetables but it is really bad at it. The julienne disc grinds up the carrots instead of nice long julienne slices. I think is is because of the poor design of the julienne disc. Just wanted to let people know who intend to use the machine to julienne vegetables. Besides that the machine works okay with the regular slicing blade.

My chefs love this food processor! My husband and I decided to buy one of these for our restaurant. The machine is very powerful and finely grinds meats and other food items. The machine has rubber feet too, it prevents the machine from moving when processing! Great product and affordable pricing!

I purchased this piece of equipment 9 months ago. So far I have only used it to grind cabbage and carrots for coleslaw. I am very pleased with the power and durability of this item. Easy to use and clean up. Changing blades is also quick and easy. The only down side is the weight. Make sure you have a dedicated spot in your kitchen for this item because moving frequently is not easy.

This machine is a work horse. I've had it a week now and I love it. Cleanup is pretty fast as the cutting blades and top plate all detach from the unit. The surfaces are all stainless steel. The safety features are also spot on. This processor can dice 100 pounds of potatoes in 5 minutes. It slices a weeks worth of pickled Jalapenos in under two minutes. It will be in my kitchen for years to come.

this processor is undoubtedly very good, but it is not a team for too much work, I think a business should have a much better one

This food processor has made our prepping much easier. We have used this to shred cheese, lettuce, onions, bel peppers, radishes, cucumbers, and much more. Not only can you cut a lot of ingredients, but it is also very easy to set up and clean. It is not to heavy as well.

This is definately not for dicing green pepper or onions. I purchased dicing kids with Advantco processor. The lid is very hard to close with screw type. It is easily opening again and leaking between through operation. Dicing blade is clogged fast and juice is coming from the unit. Absolutely not for the dicing processor. Remember, once you open the box, the webstaurantstore.com will not accept return!!!

This Food Processor is used for making our homemade tots daily, and is able to keep up with the workload. The various blade sizes help to get the perfect shred that we want for out tater tots. This product is worth the money spent.

Great piece of Equipment. Easy to use, easy cleanup. Reasonably priced. Works as good as any other food processor on the market. Would highly recommend.

The AvaMix continuous feed food processor is a beast! Its pretty large and heavy so you need a good spot on the counter for it. It works great for shredding your own cheese, slicing produce, or making coleslaw.

Great Product, i use this AvaMix Food Processor to shred Mozzarella Cheese and to slice Veggies for Salads, Works very quite and easy to clean.

This machine is great! I was a little concerned when I saw how small the unit was, but it has lived up to it's expectations. I use it to slice onions and mushrooms, and shred cheese. It breaks up the onions perfectly and takes a 20 minute job down to about 5 minutes. It also slices mushrooms with absolutely no effort. I shred at least 60 pounds of mozzarella a day and it does a great job. This machine has paid for itself at least twice and I have only had it for about 4 months. It is easy to set up and clean. (not recommended for soft veggies like bell peppers or tomatoes, but in a pinch it can be handy...) I am glad I went with a stand-alone unit instead of a mixer attachment because someone can get all the cheese done while someone else is making dough. Bang for your buck, this unit is a game changer!

This is a great product for the price. I like that it is made out of solid stainless steel and not plastic so you know that it is heavy duty. Conversely, once you find a spot for it you don't want to be moving it around, it is HEAVY! It is easy to clean and comes with a lot of attachements. I got this because it was affordable and came with dice kits and I couldn't afford the Robotcoupe. I hope they come out with more dice kit options soon! You are limited to smaller dices and larger options would be nice. I use it mostly for dicing onions. The machine does ok with dicing onions, I find myself having to clean out the dice grid fairly often. It does better with harder vegetables. The slicing and shredding attachements are better than the dicing ones. Overall a great product for the price.
