Thanks to its innovative Halo Heat® system, the Alto-Shaam 1000-UP dual compartment hot holding cabinet keeps hot foods at safe, even temperatures while retaining as much moisture as possible! Its durable heavy duty 20 gauge stainless steel exterior will stand up to years of heavy use! Its two door design with controls for each cabinet means you can use two different temperatures!

Other holding cabinets use fans to circulate warm air throughout the cavity, creating a drying effect. Some may even use steam to compensate for this air movement, but that can rob your foods of flavor!

The Halo Heat® System utilizes unique, electric thermal cable that's wrapped around three sides of the cabinet, providing a gentle, radiant heat source for your food, with no cold or hot spots, or air movement to dry out your food! As a result, the Halo Heat® system preserves food quality longer, resulting in less waste!

An additional benefit of the Halo Heat® system is that the holding cabinet radiates less ambient heat, and uses less energy than comparably sized holding cabinets.

The Alto-Shaam 1000-UP mobile dual compartment holding cabinet has a temperature range of 60 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with a digital display on each compartment to ensure that your food stays at the right temperature. Each compartment also has a 22 gauge stainless steel door that has a handle impregnated with antimicrobial additives for increased food safety!

Other convenient features include a set 5" heavy duty casters (2 with brakes), and two chrome plated side racks per compartment, spaced at 2 15/16" centers. This holding cabinet requires a 120V electrical connection.

    Very nice holding cabinet. Shipping was long because I wanted the hinges on the left. It still arrived a few days earlier than they originally told me it would ship. I dinged one star for the high uncharge for the hinge change Also for legs to replace the casters. I didn't bother with the legs since I can make my own for less than $50. I haven't used it to hold food yet. The overall build quality is top notch. I did run it to check everything out. I ran it up to 200 degrees and let it sit for 30 minutes. I then opened the door for 60 seconds and closed the door. It only took 90 seconds to get back to 200 degrees. Mind you this was in my shop which is only 55 degrees too.
