Create better solder flow with this Oatey No. 5 30041 16 oz. soldering paste flux. This petrolatum-based solder paste flux is designed to provide superior wetting properties and can be used when soldering most metals including copper, brass, zinc, galvanized iron, lead, and tin or copper-coated metals. It's completely lead-free and safe for use on potable water applications.
Effective on all metals except aluminum and stainless steel, this solder paste flux is especially ideal when used for cleaning or fluxing large diameter copper piping. The formula even prevents copper piping from turning green. Compatible with all common plumbing solder alloys, this paste flux provides effective cleaning for exceptional bonding.
