This tea is made with the most tender green tea leaves, hand-rolled into small pearls, and scented with fresh jasmine blossoms. The fragrant flowers are infused five times with the tea, according to traditional tea scenting techniques that date back over nine centuries. Once brewed, it contains medium caffeine levels, great for kickstarting the day or providing an extra boost in the afternoon.
This Numi tea is perfect whether served hot or iced. To serve hot, simply steep 1 heaping tsp. of tea in 12 oz. of hot water for 4 minutes. Once ready, it's strong enough to handle milk, yet mild enough to be served alone. To make iced tea, steep a little extra loose leaf tea in boiling water, cool, and pour over ice. 1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup
Heat 1/2 cup milk over the stove. Steep tea in 1/2 cup boiling water for 4 minutes. Strain tea leaves and stir in sweetener. Top with steamed milk and serve.

This pu-erh has a very dark color and a full-bodied malty flavor with grassy notes too. Numi organic always uses good quality ingredients. This tea can be brewed many times from the same batch of tea leaves. We usually steep each batch five times. Do not mix this tea with milk and sugar. It has its own great flavor.
