Stays frozen for a good long time, but the plastic exterior is weak, and easily torn or punctured. I've had several that partially thawed, and then when refreezing, the remaining ice block inside gets displaced so that a point stabs through the pouch. Between that and just normal wear and tear, I lose one (out of 12-15 used) nearly every outing. The foam bricks are just as bad. I'm never buying this brand again.

We can't live without these fat packs in the summertime for shipping our product. The more ounces per pack the longer they last and this size is perfect for our stryo containers in flat rate USPS boxes.

This case of Nordic gel cold packs are such an excellent buy and at such a great deal. They work great for packing into your lunch bag and keeps your food nice and cool for picnics.

I use these in my meal service business to keep food at a safe temperature when transporting from my commercial kitchen to customers. This larger size is great to reach across multiple meals in a cooler bag. They do take quite a bit of time to freeze. The company that ships my husband's insulin also uses these and they keep his medicine cold while it sits on the porch waiting for us to get home from work in the Georgia heat.

Perfect for large coolerss and tote bags. They take over a day to really freeze and hold onto dirt really well. I have issues keeping them clean. and when they thaw they can leave a mess.
