Monin Passion Fruit Concentrated Flavor 375 mL - 4/Case

I'm really sad to say that I did not enjoy this flavor. The reviews gave me a lot of hope that it would really taste like passion fruit (which I've eaten fresh plenty of times), but it tasted more like rancid barbie chapstick. It didn't have any hint of passion fruit flavor. I also bought the mango and blackberry flavor which tasted close enough to the actual fruit that it would taste really good in a mixed drink, but the bottle I received was terrible. The bottle I received also was about to expire in 4 months, while the other bottles didn't expire for at least another year. The webstaurant customer service is amazing and they sent me a second bottle to try, just in case there was something wrong with the first bottle. I will have to agree with the review below that I did not enjoy this flavor at all. This has a bubblegum smell and taste to it, and if you really think about it, yes it tastes like chapstick. I've been enjoying fresh passionfruit this whole summer and I was looking for a passionfruit product that I could use in culinary applications. The flavor of this, however, is deceiving.

This is a great coffee flavoring. I would recommend this to anyone who drinks coffee on the regular. I really like the flavor and it is very affordable.

Passion fruit is one of my favorite fruits and one of my favorite flavors. This Monin passion fruit does the flavor of passion fruit justice.

This makes a very delicious passion fruit tea. It is very concentrated so you don't need a lot. I only add two pumps and it gives great flavor.

I added this to passion fruit flavored coating and it came alive. I then added that to whipping cream and created a wonderful candy filling. Next I will try it will the white coating but I'm pretty sure it has enough concentrated flavor to work for that as well.
