Metro R52C Details

The Metro R52C chrome wire shelving rod helps form the side and back enclosures to your Metro shelving units, and can also function as a shelf space divider within a unit by passing through shelves from the top to the bottom. Built for use in dry environments, this sturdy chrome rod ensures your shelves and their contents remain secure.

For optimal shelf storage stability, rods should be placed every 6" to 12" depending on shelf contents. Rods are sold individually and are each shipped with 4 steel tabs to fasten them into place.

Verified Purchase

Since I did pay $ for shipping, I expected something more professional. For example, a standard mailing tube might have protected this long, narrow shelving rod. But, instead someone seemed to tape together parts of several thin cardboard boxes, to create a long, wide, and flat package. Unfortunately, this box may have been stepped on, or perhaps un over by a forklift. Not clear what caused the damage. The shelving rod has a considerable bend, near the middle, rendering it useless for my purposes.
