The upper and lower shelves are Metro's Brite zinc wire, which has a chromate finish and ideal for dry, low humidity environments. It has the look of chrome and includes a protective lacquer finish. Plus, since it is wire style, if is great for ingredients that require proper air circulation. The 4 chrome plated posts are both sleek as well as easy to clean. Four included casters are all capable of locking both the caster wheel and the hub to provide the utmost stability.

The PrepMate multi-rail can hold 18" cutting boards and food pans for quick and easy change-over and cleanup. It also provides multi-level configuration that allows your work surfaces to hang above your containers. This is ideal in a scenario such as performing food preparation, so you can push freshly chopped vegetables directly into their designated pans as you finish chopping them. Other accessory options such as pan holders, knife holders, and utensil bars (sold separately), allow you to tailor this work station to your exact needs.
