Rods attach with these tabs to the sides or back of your shelving unit to form enclosures, and come included with sufficient tabs for a 4-shelf unit. These additional tabs are necessary for shelving units with 5 or more shelves to ensure rod stability. Rods are sold separately with these additional tabs.
