This Metro 1842C 18" x 42" Erecta chrome wire shelf features an open wire construction that minimizes dust accumulation and allows free air circulation. No special tools are required to build a wall mounted shelf with Metro's Erecta system. Grooves on the shelf allow you to position it and lock it into a wall mounting bracket (sold separately). It can hold up to 800 lb. of evenly distributed weight.

We were required to put this wire shelf above our three compartment sink in order to be compliant with the health department as they wanted a drainboard above the 3 compartment sink. This was easy to install as all you have to do is screw the brackets into the wall and then put this shelf on top. The brackets were sold separately.
