I wasted money on buying aluminum and rubber canele molds only to buy the real deal copper molds in the end. Copper molds make a great deal of a difference - the pastries get beautifully caramelized and taste much better. Also remember that these copper molds will last forever and your kids will use them, and then their kids.

I know they are expensive but this is real deal French specialty stuff here. Copper and tin combine to cook this classic dessert to perfection.
