Take care of large or small jobs with 3-speed options, including low at 5,700 RPM, medium at 8,200 RPM, and high at 9,700 RPM for a range of trimming power. This arborist's trimming tool is compatible with Makita Max XGT lithium-ion batteries, chargers, and couple shaft attachments (sold separately).
This trimmer features IPX4 weather-resistant construction for extreme durability. It also features XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), which protects the unit from excess dirt, debris, water, or mud during intense jobs, and Star Protection computer controls to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. This trimmer weighs 9.84 lb. with the batteries in place (sold separately) for reduced operator fatigue and is only designed for use with Makita batteries and chargers (sold separately).
