This durable, waffle patterned mat is made with a 3/8" thick, PET fabric material (24 oz./sq. yd.) that dries quickly and resists staining and fading. With excellent moisture retention, the reinforced rubber nubs work to trap water and unsightly dirt below shoe levels, keeping it away from indoor floors. WaterHog mats can hold up to 1.5 gallons of water per square yard.
This mat is great for indoor areas like office lobbies, hallways, and transition areas to reduce floor care maintenance and the potential risk of your employees or guests slipping on a wet walking surface. It features a cleated SBR rubber backing and a classic rubber border to reduce movement of the mat, preventing water and grime from escaping as the mat is continually walked on. The cleated design makes it ideal for use on carpeted surfaces, digging into the material and helping the mat to stay in place. It also has beveled edges for easy transitions on and off the mat, and it is certified high-traction to prevent slipping. Plus, the eco-friendly rubber backing is made with 20 percent post-consumer recycled content. This durable mat is ideal for preventing safety hazards in any commercial establishment!

I so appreciate that it doesn't slip or slide, offering a solution for maintaining a clean and safe environment. Offered in many different sizes which is quite nice but overall I'd say durability is a key feature of the Waterhog Classic Medium Blue Mat. It has stood up really well to daily foot traffic!
