I bought this to give it a whirl since I love using strawberries in my desserts, and when you don't have fresh strawberries, syrup is the next best thing. This syrup is strongly flavored with strawberries and the consistency is ideal for icecream and plating. The syrup seems to be clarified and filtered, so no remnants of strawberry in it. I *do* wish that they came out with a healthier option, using real sugar and no food coloring; in my experience in making real strawberry fillings for pies, one doesnt need food coloring at all. This flavoring is sweet, delicious, and would be perfect for topping cheesecakes.
