Easily remove unwanted water with this Liberty Pumps 257 effluent / sump pump with vertical magnetic float switch. This submersible pump features a 1 1/2" discharge and provides a maximum flow rate of 50 GPM, while its 1/3 hp motor and vortex style impeller quickly and efficiently expel water. It can handle solids up to 1/2" in size. Thanks to its single-piece cast iron body with a powder-coated finish, this pump is built to withstand the demands of a commercial setting. With a stainless steel rotor shaft, stainless steel hardware, and permanently sealed and lubricated bearings, this pump is designed for long-lasting use.
This pump is automatically activated by a heavy-duty vertical magnetic float switch. Its long 10' cord ensures convenient use, and its quick-connect design allows you to easily replace the cord without breaking any seals to the motor. The maximum fluid temperature for this pump is 140 degrees Fahrenheit for intermittent use or 104 degrees Fahrenheit for continuous duty. For added safety, this pump features thermal overload protection that resets at 221 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent overheating. This pump requires a 115V electrical connection for use. An excellent choice for low-head effluent pumping or basement dewatering, this pump is sure to come in handy in your establishment.
