Libbey Embassy 8.5 oz. Red Wine Glass - Sample

These wine glasses are great, for the price and what they are. However, in our opinion, they tend to look very outdated. We have since switched to a stemless glass from Acopa, #5535518. Guest feedback is very positive, and Acopa look much more modern.

It is Fast shipping, and it is good condition when it arrived. A case of Libbey 3764 embassy 8.5 oz glass is fair price for me. I will reorder again in future.

Pros: + Short steam means more durability and more room to store + Very elegant looking + Perfect for parties where customers will be standing a lot + Perfect for large parties with lot of wine drinkers. The shorter stems means there's a less chance of knocking a glass over. Cons: - Stem is shorter than I expected. It's almost as short as our Grand Mariner LIbbey glasses. - Not as durable and thick as we thought they would be for the price we paid. Conclusion: We purchased these for all-purpose wine glasses. These look great for both red and whites. However, if you are looking to buy these for all-purpose wine glasses, you might want to purchase the Libbey 3765 Embassy 8.5 oz. White Wine Glass instead. It's a little taller with a slightly longer stem, which would've been just the right amount. We feel these 3764 Embassy Red Wine Glasses are just a little bit too short.

These Libbey 8.5 oz red wine glasses are great. Since I pour around 4 oz for each glass they are really easy to eyeball. No chips yet either.

Use these quite a bit and I don't think one has ever broke. I remember dropping one and it stayed in tact. Great wine glass and durable.

Glasses are just what I needed. Till now I have had no problems with them. They don't chip that easy and are a good size for a glass of wine
