At the base of the table, a 22" x 22" black, powder-coated cross base plate helps to prevent the table from wobbling, ensuring stability and balance. A 12-piece floor glide and screw hardware kit attaches to the base, further assisting in leveling the table while preventing the base from scratching the floor.
Before furnishing your bar or restaurant with stylish and sturdy tables, watch this video to learn how to assemble a restaurant table base! Here you'll find the parts and the steps needed for successful assembly.
Assembling your restaurant table base can be done with ease by following a few quick steps! Begin by placing your threaded rod through the hole in the spider, until the end of the rod sits in the top of the spider. Flip this over to then place the column over the threaded rod, and slide it down until it touches the spider. Align the center of the base with the column, and push the end of the threaded rod through the hole in the base. Place the washer and the nut on the threaded rod, and use a wrench to screw the nut into place. When screwing the nut in, make sure that the top of the threaded rod is tight against the spider, which will help to ensure that your base will be stable. Screw the glides into the bottom of the base to finish up the assembly. The first thing you’ll do is to take the threaded rod, and slide it through the hole on the spider. Note that the top of the threaded rod will slip into this indentation on the spider. Next add the column, and turn upside down. Now place the base atop this column, making sure it is properly aligned. Now place the washer and nut on the threaded rod, as you screw the nut, make sure that you can feel that the top of the rod is locked inside the indentation on the spider…you may have to pull up and turn a bit. Tighten the nut, and your base is almost finished. Just screw the glides onto the base and you are done. To mount on the table, just place the base onto the center of the table top, making sure to measure, and attach with screws through the holes in the spider. This is a very sturdy table with a base that has a foot print that allows it to be used in tight corners. Because the table's foot print is spread out along the floor from the center of the table rather from the four corners of the table, I can slide in and out of a chair without first having to push the chair backwards in order to clear the table leg. Something to think about if you're going to use this table between two walls or simply don't want to have to move your chair every time you sit at or get up from the table. The table top is well built and I like that I have a choice between two tops. Would definitely recommend. Great price for a solid piece of furniture.
