This crib comes with a 24" x 38" x 3" fire retardant mattress that passes all state and federal fire regulations to help make sure a child is safe. A steel cross bar supports the mattress for strength, while the fixed side rails and non-folding design reinforce the structure to help keep a baby safe.
This crib's mattress can also be adjusted to three different positions for convenience. The "shopping cart" handle bars and double wide casters make it easy to maneuver this around, and the foam caster bumpers help prevent damage when hitting walls or corners. In addition, the clear acrylic windows at both ends offer visibility and sneeze guard protection.

This is a beautiful, sturdy crib. I have a tall, strong, active 10 month old who doesn't like to sit or lay down. I feel comfortable that he is safe in this crib, even if not sleeping. It's also nice to know that it is non-toxic since he is currently enjoying using it as a giant teether.
