Equip your toolbox with this GFCI outlet tester. This tester detects the most common wiring problems in standard and GFCI receptacles. It works on GFCI outlets and confirms operation of the ground fault protective device. It includes a convenient chart to help determine the wiring condition in the outlet based on the indicator lights.

This unit can detect open ground, reverse polarity, open hot, open neutral, and hot / ground reversed conditions. It is drop test rated for up to 6 1/2', and it has an operating temperature of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This tester meets CAT II 300V standards.
