Klein Tools ET270 Details

Equip your toolbox with this Klein Tools GFCI multi-tester. This tester comes with right-angle test leads to measure AC / DC voltage, resistance, and audible continuity and to perform 9V or 1.5V battery tests. It also includes a receptacle cord to detect and identify common wiring faults in standard North American 120V, 3-wire outlets and GFCI electrical receptacles. This cord is also used to inspect North American GFCI devices, including trip time, and to find a corresponding breaker. This unit indicates common wiring problems including wired correctly, open ground, open neutral, open hot, dual open (neutral and ground), reversed hot / ground, and reversed hot / neutral. Its bright LED lights illuminate green to indicate correct wiring or red to indicate incorrect wiring or low or high voltage.

This unit features a large, backlit LCD display to clearly view data. It is easy to use with a large selection dial to switch between the different functions and large, clearly marked function buttons to activate its different features. It has a simple find button to locate the corresponding breaker, while the GFCI button initiates an electrical test while in receptacle test mode. This tool also has a hold button to hold the data on the display, and it allows you to set a manual range by selecting maximum and minimum values.

This tool is made of durable ABS, and it is drop test rated for up to 6 1/2'. It is designed for indoor use only with an operating temperature of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It meets CAT III 600V, Class 2, double insulation standards, and it comes with (2) AAA batteries for operation. It features a convenient low battery indicator to indicate when batteries must be replaced, while the auto power-off mode helps conserve battery life. This multi-tester comes complete with a storage pouch to store all included components in one convenient location.
