Equip your toolbox with this Klein Tools circuit breaker finder and wire tracer kit. This kit is used for reliable tracing of energized or non-energized breakers, fuses, and wires behind the wall, above ceilings, under the floor, and in other concealed locations. This kit contains a transmitter to connect to a circuit and a receiver to detect breakers, fuses, and wires. This makes it easy to trace wires, conduit or pipes, or a single wire in a bundle.

The included transmitter is easy to use with a simple power button. It has AC / DC external voltage indicators of 12V, 48V, 120V, 240V, and 480V. It also includes an energized / ELV indicator, an AC / DC / polarity indicator, and a transmitting indicator. Its (6) AA batteries provide up to 24 hours of operation, and its auto-power off mode shuts down after 4 hours of inactivity to help conserve energy. A low battery indicator clearly indicates when the batteries must be replaced.

The included receiver allows you to easily adjust the sensitivity level between 8 different levels to detect the transmitted signal through drywall, cement block, and underground. It features both audible beeps and visual indicators to denote signal strength. This unit has a backlit LCD display, and it is easy to use with simple push buttons. It includes a flashlight to illuminate low-light areas and an NCV function to test if wires are energized. Its (4) AA batteries provide up to 28 hours of operation, and its auto-power off mode shuts down after 10 minutes of inactivity to help conserve energy.

Both the transmitter and receiver are made of ABS plastic with a drop test rating of up to 6 1/2'. They are designed for indoor use only with operating temperatures of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. These tools also feature IP42 ingress protection to withstand small objects and angled water drips. The transmitter meets CATIII 600V safety standards, while the receiver meets CAT III 600V, CAT II 1000V, Class II, double insulation safety standards. This kit also includes ground prongs, outlet tabs, alligator clips, lead adapters, and AC plug leads. A convenient hard carrying case makes it easy to store and transport all of the included components.
