John Guest® 5/16SCV Details

Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this John Guest® white acetal check valve. Made with a durable white acetal copolymer body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets. This check valve easily attaches onto plastic or copper pipe, and it fits 5/16" pipes. Featuring a 0.3 PSI crack pressure, it provides you with a simple way to prevent backflow.

Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the tubing is pushed into the fitting and up to the tube stop, the 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto the pipe to hold it in position. Meanwhile, the collet also grips on before the food grade nitrile O-ring compresses around the pipe for a leak-free seal. Plus, this fitting is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting, reliable use!
