These soft, chewable ice crystals are a customer favorite for fountain drinks because they dispense well and cool beverages faster and longer than standard cube ice. They also blend well in smoothies and mixed drinks without diluting the flavor. This type of ice machine uses less power and water than most comparable cube ice makers, making it a great upgrade for restaurants, convenience stores, and healthcare facilities.
This ice machine boasts smart electronics to help minimize service calls. Its SystemSafe load monitoring system constantly checks the stress on the gearbox and shuts the machine down before it can cause damage and necessitate costly repairs. An innovative water sensor also eliminates low and no-water failures and is designed so that adverse water conditions cannot affect its reliability. It also has a built-in, non-contact ice detection fail safe with automatic shutoff to detect when the ice bin is full and immediately stop production.
This ice machine features a durable stainless steel finish. It has a stainless steel auger and evaporator, maintenance-free, industrial-grade double roller bearings, and a heavy-duty gearbox for years of reliable ice making. Ideal for spaces where ambient noise is a concern, this remote-cooled unit can be installed in a separate location using the appropriate line kits (both sold separately). It uses R-449A refrigerant and requires a 208-230V electrical connection for operation.
