Quickly and easily prepare your signature steamed dishes with this Groen (2)HY-3EF HyPerSteam stainless steel stacked pressureless electric steamer! Boasting 2 separately controlled compartments, this unit holds (3) 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" pans per cavity. With a pressureless design, this unit can be used to steam a variety of foods from vegetable sides to seafood entrees. Each compartment comes equipped with a rear-mounted, 8 kW, atmospheric steam generator, which provides steam to the unit at a temperature of up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit and quickly prepares the unit for use. Powerful, side-mounted blowers ensure that steam is quickly distributed throughout each compartment and between loaded pans, steaming your meals thoroughly and reliably.
This unit was built with safety and sanitation in mind. Each door is equipped with a hidden, magnetic switch which shuts off the generator and compartment blower when a door is opened, protecting your staff from hot steam when checking on or retrieving pans of food. An electric water sensor also shuts off the unit when the water levels are low. For easy cleaning, this model has an auto-clean feature that delimes the compartments at the push of a button. It also includes removable stainless steel support racks and a condensation collection tray for added efficiency when maintaining and sanitizing the unit.
With a durable stainless steel interior and exterior, this unit is sure to hold up in a commercial kitchen. The continuous door hinges can also be adjusted to swing left or right, making this unit adaptable to your cooking space. The controls are easy to use, with a simple on / off push button, 60-minute timer with a continuous steam option, and a lighted "ready" light to indicate when the unit is ready for use. Its stand-mounted design allows for convenient placement in your kitchen layout, optimizing space and workflow efficiency. This unit requires a 3 phase, 280V electrical connection, (2) 3/4" NH cold water supply lines, and a 1 1/2" O.D. free venting drain.
