Designed for sushi rice testing, this Hydrion sushi rice pH test paper dispenser offers quick and easy pH level testing! These paper strips have a distinct color match at every .5 interval between 3 and 5, making it easy to identify the correct pH level. Simply take a 1/4 cup sample of your cooked, acidified rice from different areas of your batch and add 3/4 cup of distilled water to a plastic or metal cup. After the mixture is blended for about 20 seconds, simply tear off a small strip of pH paper, dip into the mixture for 1-2 seconds, and instantly compare the resulting color with the pH color chart to find a match. The paper is held in a convenient, plastic dispensing container and provides an accurate, reproducible reading of your test solution.

This dispenser is ideal for sushi restaurants and other establishments required to test the pH levels of sushi rice. Re-acidify any sushi rice with an initial pH greater than 4.6 with more vinegar solution and recheck. With this dispenser, ensure your sushi rice is safe for your customers, reducing the potential for bacteria to grow in the rice. This product includes (1) 15 ft. roll of test paper and matching color chart and provides for approximately 100 tests. It should not be stored in an area with high humidity or in an area where it may be exposed to water before use.
