Constructed of durable stainless steel and heavy-duty plastic components, this unit peels 50 lb. to 60 lb. of root vegetables in just 3 minutes, saving you time and increasing your kitchen output. This potato peeler features a removable, fiberglass reinforced, plastic peeling disc with a permanent silicon abrasive that withstands high-volume use. The removable Lexan liner and positive locking molded polyester plastic cover are easy to clean, along with a side-mounted water inlet for thorough interior cleaning.
This Hobart potato peeler features an intuitive design that is easy to start with a simple manual switch and also includes a thermal overload switch to protect the unit from overheating. The convenient cabinet base has a peel strainer to strain and trap peelings as well as 4 cast aluminum legs for stability and 2 heavy-duty wheels for easy mobility. This Hobart potato peeler with cabinet base and strainer has a 1 hp electric motor and requires a 120V electrical connection. An 8' flexible power cord is included. Assembly is required for this unit.
