The Heycafe Jack is very quiet in operation, produces an even grind, with very little retention, and virtually no dust. It's pretty easy to use and to clean. My only concern is that the instructions recommend that the machine only grind for 15 seconds, followed by a 45 second pause. That would be OK for espresso, but for the standard commercial 64oz drip machine "dose", it's not really convenient, especially since I frequently make two batches at once, for a crowd. I thought that the half pound hopper meant that it could grind a half pound without stopping, but evidently that's not the case. So, excellent performance, limited endurance, best suited for espresso. It'll do for the most part, but I am definitely going to need a bulk grinder eventually.
