Effectively seal pipes and fittings with this Hercules by Oatey Megaloc 15808 16 oz. blue multipurpose thread sealant. Highly versatile, this sealant is suitable for use on a variety of plastic or metal pipes, including those made of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper. It is made with DuPont Kevlar® fibers to strengthen seals, providing the dependability and protection you need to get the job done right!
This sealant features an odorless formula that is non-separating, non-flammable, and non-hazardous. This formula is soft-setting and requires no cure time, making it an economical choice. Plus, this sealant wipes easily off clothes and tools for a hassle-free experience!
Temperature extremes are no match for this powerful sealant, as it can withstand temperatures from -50 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Its hydraulic resistance stands at 12,000 PSI, and it can also withstand gas pressures up to 2600 PSI. While it is safe for most drinking water lines, it is not recommended for lines carrying strong acids. Complete with a screw cap and brush, you can easily apply this sealant to suit a variety of repair needs!
