Keep your facility ready for any emergency with this HeartSine 360-BAC-US-08 Samaritan PAD 360P automatic AED.

Sudden cardiac arrest is a deadly condition that affects over 350,000 people in the United States each year, and when it happens immediate attention is needed for the best chance of survival. Emergency responders may not be able to reach the victim before permanent damage or even death occurs, but an AED (automated external defibrillator) like this device can allow someone without any medical training to deliver potentially life-saving treatment until help arrives. Designed to keep operation as simple as possible, this AED helps guide you through each step of a rescue and comes with smart design features to save time when setting up.

  • UL Listed, US & Canada

    UL Listed, US & Canada

This product has been certified by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to meet applicable safety standards required for use in the United States and Canada.

Includes Adult Electrode Pads

It comes with a pair of adult electrode pads with clear illustrations showing you where to place them on the patient's chest. The pads are stored pre-connected to the AED to let you respond faster and are intended for adult use only, but this model can also use pediatric pads (sold separately). If you do choose to install pediatric pads, the unit will adjust the prompts to fit the new pad style.

Automatic Design

Once the pads are placed on the patient's body, this automatic AED will determine if and when to deliver the shock, and do so on its own. During the rescue, voice and diagram instructions will help you administer treatment confidently until help arrives, and a metronome guides you through CPR when prompted. Up to 90 minutes of rescue data is automatically recorded and can be downloaded using a USB cable when time allows.

Compact Design

This AED is also designed to be smaller than competitors, weighing only 2.4 lb. with the Pad-Pak installed, and a footprint 56% smaller than the largest AED on the market.

Regular Self-Checks

To keep your AED ready to use at all times, this unit proactively completes a weekly self-check so that you can be alerted of potential issues promptly and fix them.

1 Expiration Date for Pads and Electrodes

Unlike other AEDs which require separate replacement of the pads and batteries, this unit makes the process easy by packaging the battery and the electrode pads together in a convenient Pad-Pak that lasts 4 years. When you need to replace a pack, you'll also start fresh with a new battery, giving you peace of mind that you'll be able to respond to a cardiac emergency.

Accessories Included

The AED comes with an 8-year warranty on the device, and a 4-year warranty on the battery and electrode Pad-Pak. The Pad-Pak has a 4-year standby life. It has an ingress protection rating of 56.

Kit Includes:
- 4-year adult electrode and battery Pad-Pak

HeartSine SAM 360P Set Up And Use Tutorial

In this video, you will learn how to operate your HeartSine Samaratin PAD 360P.

You have purchased a HeartSine Samaritan PAD 360P, an innovative, fully automatic defibrillator that provides audiovisual CPR coaching. Let's look at how to use one in a life-saving situation. The Samaritan PAD should be used on victims of sudden cardiac arrest who are unconscious, not breathing, and have no pulse. Check for a response by shaking the victim by the shoulders and talking loudly to the victim. If the patient is unresponsive, immediately call for medical assistance and get the Samaritan PAD as quickly as possible. Press the green on-off button to turn on the Samaritan PAD. Depending on the pad pack currently installed, you will hear either an adult patient or a child patient prompt. If the patient is a child between one and eight years of age, you should ensure a pink pediatric pack is installed. If a pink pediatric pack is not available, you may use the gray adult pad pack instead.

Adult patient, call for medical assistance. Remove clothing from patient's chest to expose bare skin. Pull green tab to remove pads. Peel pads from liner. Apply pads to patient's bare chest as shown in picture, press pads firmly to patient's bare skin. The Samaritan PAD automatically assesses the patient's heart rhythm. Assessing heart rhythm. Do not touch the patient. And will automatically deliver a shock if needed. Stand clear of patient, shock advised. Stand clear of patient, shock will be delivered in 3, 2, 1. Shock delivered.

When performing CPR, it's important to apply effective chest compressions for each two-minute cycle as directed. The SAM 360P will prompt you to begin CPR and will continue to do so until you begin chest compressions. Begin CPR. It is safe to touch the patient. The SAM 360P will tell you how and where to place your hands. Place overlapping hands in middle of chest, press directly down on the chest in time with metronome. [beeping noise] Remain calm.

In addition to staying in time with the metronome, your chest compressions should have a depth of at least five centimeters, or two inches, and not greater than six centimeters, or 2.4 inches for adults and children greater than eight years of age. The combination of chest compressions and defibrillation is the best treatment you can provide until medical professionals arrive on the scene. Once you have completed two minutes of chest compressions, the SAM 360P will prompt you to stop chest compressions. Stop CPR. And again, assess the patient's heart rhythm. Assessing heart rhythm. Do not touch the patient.

Sometimes no shock is needed in a lifesaving situation. No shock advised. And the Samaritan PAD will tell you in that instance, or advise you to continue to perform CPR. After using the Samaritan PAD slide, a new pad pack into the unit and store it as usual. Remember to follow your local battery disposal guidelines. Once a week, check that the green light is flashing so the unit is ready in case of an emergency. The Samaritan PAD stores up to 90 minutes of ECG information after use. Use the Saver Evo software, which can be downloaded from the HeartSine website, and the custom USB data cable to download the event data for a physician who may want the information from the device to help inform treatment decisions.

After using the Samaritan PAD during a sudden cardiac arrest, submit the Saver EVO file and a completed customer event form to HeartSine. HeartSine will send you a free replacement pad pack. After downloading the event data, please erase the data from memory. If you need assistance to do this, contact HeartSine Technical Service. When a HeartSine Samaritan PAD is used to save a victim of sudden cardiac arrest, the survivor is eligible to participate in the Forward Hearts Program, which provides a donation to an organization of the survivor's choice. Contact HeartSine for details. With the unit nearby, you are always prepared to respond in the event of someone going into sudden cardiac arrest. HeartSine. Life-saving, pure and simple.
