Guardian Equipment G6022 Details
This Guardian Equipment G6022 thermostatic mixing valve ensures that the mix of hot and cold water is perfectly blended. This valve connects to safety stations and uses a bimetallic thermostat to blend water to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a limit stop at 90 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent potential scalding. A built-in fail safe allows water to pass through when the hot water connection is failing to deliver, but shuts off if the cold water supply is failing. This allows cold water to spray from showers and eyewash stations but not hot water, as to prevent burns.
The mixing valve is housed in a durable stainless steel cabinet to protect it from any collision-based damages. The cabinet is designed to be surface mounted onto a wall. This valve has a flow capacity of 13 GPM. A dial thermometer lets you monitor water level and has red, yellow, and green zones for easy identification of potential safety issues. This valve has 1/2" female water inlets and outlet.
