I agree with 'Deborah D.', who posted on 8/11/24. I am also very disappointed by the expiration date (February 19, 2025) on the golden raisins I ordered on Sep. 20, 2024. Raisins are dried fruit; if properly processed and stored, they will last for many years, not become unusable on the one-year anniversary of their production, as these do. I do not find the platitudes offered to Deborah by the seller to be acceptable. Nor are these raisins acceptable. They are greasy! And they have an 'off' smell; perhaps it is the substance they have been treated with that will expire, or become rancid, one year after production??!! My hands became greasy from handling the raisins while repackaging them for storage. The plastic bag they came in was greasy also, not sticky as one would expect it to be from the sugary raisins.
