Golden Barrel 1 Gallon Dark Corn Syrup - 4/Case

This stuff is not dark corn syrup. It is regular corn syrup with dark coloring. Dark corn syrup contains molasses or at least has molasses flavoring. This has a very mild flavor. I make southern pecan pies and have been using Karo dark which puts the distinctive flavor in Southern pecan pie. My production is ramping up so I decided to try this bulk stuff. Fortunately I decided to taste it before adding to the batch. Now I have to make a 30 mile trek to town and try to find dark Karo at any price. I have always been very pleased with what I have sourced from Websturant but I am very disappointed in this product.

Good quality and quantity of corn syrup. Great for pecan pie of course... or try a peanut pie for a less expensive and delicious option.

This dark corn syrup has become hard to find. I use it in several recipes and other uses. My food distributor quit carrying it so I had to modify recipes. Then one day I was online shopping and entered search for it on webstuarant supply website and there it was. Awesome that you can shop for just about anything you need at webstuarant supply.

Nice to be able to buy dark corn syrup in large quantity. I use this for baked beans and making pecan pies and it works great for that. Would buy again.

We don't use corn syrup often, so I was buying smaller bottles at the grocery store. This is much more affordable, and will save me trips to the store. It arrived packed in plastic, which was a great, in case of leaks.

The Fox's dark corn syrup is delicious and makes a great baking ingredient for our sweets shop. The syrup is wonderful and great for pie fillings and molasses cookies.

Most excellent dark corn syrup, and the price is so very much lower than buying at retail grocery stores!! I use dark corn syrup in making peanut pie (along with light corn syrup), which i bake year round because i love it so much. It just made perfect sense to buy the dark corn syrup in bulk, and Webstaurantstore always has the best prices!

We have not used this product yet in our baking however, we have tasted it first and I must say, the quality is exceptional, surprisingly for the cost. We've been using Karro Syrup prior to finding this brand.

This corn syrup has a bit more of a sweet taste than Karo, but it still works fabulously in all of our pecan pies and pecan pie bars. We love it!

this Fox's Dark Corn Syrup - 1 Gallon Container is great for BBQ sauce. It was a nice taste and don't overpower the sauce. I will buy again when needed. Great price a great product.

This syrup seems a little thin the first time you use it, but it still bakes up well in pecan pies and has a nice flavor.

This is a good product, although it didn't have quite the flavor profile I was expecting for my purposes. I'm sure it would be fine for pecan pies and such, not so much with BBQ sauces. It's by no means a criticism of the quality.

Great in making frosting, toffee and of course, pecan pie. It is a really great product for an even better price, you cannot beat this.

THE IS A GREAT VAULE I GOT TIRED OF THE OVER PRICED CORN SYRUP,I USE IT FOR MAKING PECAN PIES..THIS COST LESS AND MAKES A GREAT PIE....
