Featuring a grooved top plate and a smooth bottom plate, the unit creates grill marks on one side of the panini, burrito, meat, or vegetables that you're preparing. Plus, since the bottom plate is smooth it can double as a small griddle surface for greater versatility. It reaches a maximum temperature of 570 degrees Fahrenheit and is adjustable by easy-to-use thermostatic controls. Simple and easy to use, this model has a single on/off switch and one temperature control so that you don't need to worry about advanced settings.
To withstand the demanding environment of the kitchen, this sandwich grill is made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its grill plates are made of heavy-duty, seasoned cast iron, which retains heat well for fast recovery. This is critical in bustling, high volume operations! To maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding area, a removable, stainless steel crumb tray is included. A set of rubber feet prevents the grill from sliding during operation for safety and stability. A 120V electrical connection is required for operation.

How can I properly care for cast iron surfaces?
In order to prevent unwanted build-up of oils, grease, and food, surfaces should be cleaned after use while still slightly warm. Harsh chemicals or scouring pads should not be used—only hot water and a cloth or sponge are needed. If some areas require extra cleaning, a mild scouring pad can be used.

This unit is the reason we've moved on from paninis on our menu. It didn't make it through the extended warranty protection and sadly I was unable to be issued a refund. It's heavy and difficult to clean. We definitely worked ours hard to perhaps we should have invested in a different unit.

Didn’t even have this grill for 6 months and it broke. Called Globe since it’s under warranty and the agent knew what broke before I mentioned it. Said they would send a new one, but haven’t received it. I emailed the agent, and the email bounced back. The handle broke off of the top plate and nearly injured an employee when the plate fell, and the top plate stopped heating.
