Controlled Air Flow
Manipulating air flow while roasting coffee is an important part of shaping your roast profile and changing heat distribution among the roasting beans. This roaster comes with two independent variable fans that allow you to control that airflow to not only change heat distribution but also to remove particulate matter that builds up throughout the roast. Minimizing the presence of these particulates ensures a cleaner taste in your coffee once brewed.

Versatile and Compatible
This roaster runs on clean natural gas (but can be converted to propane) with a large burner plate that provides ample heat to your roasts. The amount of heat can be variably adjusted via the touchscreen included with the unit to properly shape your roast profile. Giesen roasters are compatible with a variety of common roasting software like Artisan and Cropster, and are also compatible with the Giesen Profiler (sold separately), which allows you to gain even more control and consistency with your roasts with precise tracking and roast replay functionality.

Easy-to-Use Touchscreen
Roasting high-quality coffee on this unit is exceptionally easy, with an easy-to-use touchscreen interface that controls all variables. To change the thermodynamic reaction occurring inside the roaster, altering drum speed quickly and consistently is necessary. Variable drum speed on this roaster is easy to operate via the touchscreen controls. The roaster comes with numerous temperature probes located in the drum to give you real-time information on how the coffee is progressing.

Attractive Wooden Handles
Once a batch is done, easily lift the drum door and let the coffee cool in the large cooling tray with an independent fan and turbo-speed option to rapidly cool your coffee, stopping the beans from cooking any further. The handles feature a beautiful wood grain and are designed so that you can open the roaster with one hand.
