Ghirardelli 10 lb. Sweet Ground White Chocolate Flavored Powder

I own a small bakery, and one of my most popular cookies is the Tuxedo (dark chocolate white chip cookie). We sell out every week, and for good reason. I’ve been using the Hershey’s Special Dark cacao powder, but cannot source it in bulk, which for time and cost purposes, is rather important. I ended up on Webstaurant looking for baking spices for my holiday cookies, and started to browse, as one does, and found this 25 lb. answer to my problems! Ghirardelli is a well know and respected brand, so after crunching the numbers, and realizing I could be saving upwards of $70 by switching and buying in bulk, it was a no-brainer! That being said - this chocolate/cocoa powder did not work for what we intended (see video) but we were able to use it to make those popular hot cocoa bombs and EVERYONE loved them!

Should be indicated that this is in fact not to be used as cocoa powder, and strictly for beverages, and potentially buttercreams. Will cause baked goods to sink, and crack, and icings to split/separate.

There is no white chocolate powder quite like the Ghirardelli white chocolate. We use it in our coffee shops and the customers absolutely love it! If you want to make an amazing white mocha, you need this white chocolate.

Absolutely the best cocoa powder I've used! I noticed the zip tie on the bag is reusable, just as I was about to cut it off.

Absolutely delicious! I use this hot chocolate to make my white chocolate and white chocolate mocha hot chocolate bombs. It’s creamy and smooth. Not too sweet either.

This powder makes rich tasting hot cocoa. Tastes great with milk. However, we prefer to mix in a little bit more to make it a little bit thicker. Have been repurchasing this product.

This is a really great value for cocoa powder so I will definitely continue to purchase. I use this cocoa powder in brownies, cakes, cupcakes, frostings and cookies and is quite versatile for all. However, I was surprised to find it doesn't have as much chocolate flavor as I would like. When using this cocoa powder in my bakery recipes I either have to increase the amount of cocoa powder used or pair this with natural cocoa powder in order to get the depth of chocolate flavor I am looking for.

Love the Ghirardelli sweet and ground cocoa powder, and it makes the best tasting chocolate frosting ever. Great quality and super smooth with no lumps.

We use this mix with steamed milk and it makes a fabulous rich hot chocolate. Our customers love it and it really tastes like a genuine homemade hot cocoa.

This cocoa powder is very dark and delicious. We find that we need to use less, which is always a bonus. We will be ordering this again.

Poorly packaged and damaged in transit. I gave 2 stars because they did refund me. However, they need to work on packaging because this is not the first item to arrive damaged.

A great substitute for dark chocolate chips. The powder is smooth and blends in well. provides a great rich dark chocolate flavor to any mix, cocoa or dessert.

This was not flaked white chocolate as we expected, however has a sugar like texture, combined with what looks like coffee mate, sounds gross but tastes divine. It makes the most amazing white hot chocolate when you stir four tsp into a mug of hot milk, and stir the same amount into freshly brewed coffee,( we have a senseo) and you have the most luxurious white mocha you can imagine. Rich, tasty and not too expensive this is worth every single naughty calorie. Oh and Hubbie says that it tastes awesome straight from the spoon in all it's grainy glory.

Love Ghirardelli Cocoa powder. I use this cocoa powder in my bakery for all kinds of things, not just hot chocolate, but also hot cocoa bombs and great tasting recipes.

In my opinion Ghiradelli makes the best chocolate due to the smoothness and deep flavor, and this definitely applies to their dutch cocoa powder. It has a very rich chocolate flavor. But is is not acidic like other lower quality brands, and it has a very smooth tasting experience whether made into cocoa or in baked products. Can't beat this cocoa powder.

We LOVE this Ground Chocolate! We use it all the time in may of our drinks!! We use it in espresso drinks as well as blended drinks and it works perfectly! Highly recommend!

I've used this product as drinking chocolate and also in baked cookies, brownies and cupcakes! Delicious, full, rich chocolate flavor. It does have sugar so cannot be used in buttercream.

Ghirardelli sweet ground chocolate cocoa powder far exceeded my expectations. I am a huge Hershey fan but after trying this for the first time I have to say I am in love.

This Cocoa powder is absolutely delicious. It comes wrapped in plastic and in a large box. We will transfer it to an airtight container to keep it fresh. We are very happy with this product so far!!

I love using this sweet ground chocolate powder in protein shakes. The added chocolate flavor really makes them taste amazing. I love buying in bulk and saving money. It is well packaged making for easy storing.
