In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. The ivory plate is great for use as a appetizer or side plate in a high volume restaurant like ours. Very simple in design and easy to spray off and run thru the disherwasher.
