Crafted from durable, industrial-grade cold rolled steel, it’s designed to withstand heavy daily use in high-traffic environments. The light gray antimicrobial powder coating protects against mildew, mold, and bacteria for up to 20 years and inhibits the growth of microorganisms that can stain and deteriorate the coating over time. Additionally, it works to inhibit the growth of bacterial odors, ensuring a clean and hygienic storage solution for your facility. Assembling this unit is a breeze with all the necessary components and hardware included. It comes with two beaded front posts, two angle back posts, one back panel assembly, two side panel assemblies, and 11 shelves equipped with four shelf clips per shelf.

This shelving starter’s back and side panels are made from 24 gauge cold rolled sheet steel while the front and back posts are made from 14 gauge cold rolled steel. For added durability, the front posts are roll formed into 11/16” x 2 9/16” tubular sections with rear flanges welded on 6” centers. Plus, they are flush to permit straight-in / straight-out shelf installation for full use of the 36” shelf width. Meanwhile, the back posts are roll formed into unique angular shapes for added strength. Both the front and back posts are punched at 1 1/2” centers with 3/8" x 7/8" rectangular slots to receive shelf clips, allowing for independent shelf adjustments to fit your unique storage needs. For optimal sturdiness, the one-piece, zinc-plated, 13 gauge cold rolled steel compression shelf clips are non-intrusive, sitting flush with the inside edges of the front posts while fitting tightly into the posts' slots to hold the shelves securely in place.

This unit is equipped with medium-duty, class 0 shelves, crafted from cold rolled steel. Each shelf has roll formed rectangular tubular-shaped front and rear edges featuring return bends that are resistance welded to the underside of the shelf, ensuring maximum strength and protection against impact. Each shelf features two ribs along the horizontal front and rear edge, as well as stamped identification on the top left corners. Designed with exclusive triple bend side flanges that form a channel and lapped and resistance welded corners, the shelves provide further reinforcement, guaranteeing a secure and reliable structure. The shelf welds are spaced at 3” centers, and the surface of each shelf has holes punched on 1 1/2” centers to receive shelf dividers (sold separately).
