Sturdy and Durable
This shelf is made of rugged particleboard and features powder-coated, 16 gauge steel, double rivet Z-beams for superior strength. It has an impressive 1,000 lb. load capacity to securely hold heavy or oversized items.
Solid Design
Since this shelf is solid, it allows for efficient loading and unloading and can easily accommodate items that might fall through regular vented or wire shelving.

Place the post caps on the bottom of the 4 posts. Make sure the large slots are facing upward. Next, place a short beam in between two posts on the inside of the posts at the desired shelf height. Insert into the opening and press down so that it slides into the narrower slot. Secure the beam in both posts. Repeat this step with the other set of posts.
Take two long beams and secure them to either side of the posts and their braces. Make sure the beams are level with the short beams. Then, tap into place with a rubber mallet and cloth to secure all 4 beams.
Attach the midsection support bar to the long beams by inserting the teeth of the support bar into the openings on the long beams. The midsection support bar should run parallel with the short beams. Repeat steps 2-4 to set up the other posts.
Finally, arrange the particle board in place on the lower shelf and place post caps on the top of the 4 posts. That's it! You've now successfully assembled your shelf.
