This durable MetroMax i open grid shelf is just as strong as Metro's wire shelves, but has many additional features that make it even more versatile. The shelf is removable for easy cleaning in a sink or dish washing machine, and is made with Microban antimicrobial protection that stands tough against damp environments that contain bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungus for superior sanitation. The mat that comes with this shelf has a smooth, flat surface and can be placed on top of the shelf to prevent tearing and damage to products.
