Provide a steady flow of warm air in your facility with this King Electric portable unit heater. This portable heater is designed for high capacity, temporary heating in industrial spaces like garages and warehouses. Because it relies on electricity to produce heat, this heater does not create odor, flame, nor does it pose a risk for carbon monoxide. It's also ideal for drying applications where dry, electric heat outperforms propane- or kerosene-generated heat. Its long-lasting motor works quickly and efficiently to heat 600 CFM, while adjustable louvers allow you to direct the heat in the proper direction to maximize the warmth in your space. Plus, a built-in thermostat allows you to adjust the temperature between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
The heater's spiral steel fin heating element regulates heat so it flows evenly through the copper brazed coil. It eliminates the potential of overheating and uses less energy, saving you money. The built-in fan delay is another huge benefit to this heater, as it separates the compressor from the air handler. Instead of both shutting off at the same time with air building up within the unit, the fan delay allows the air handler to continue for a period of time after the compressor shuts off so the fan can push all of the remaining air out of the unit. A patented thermal overload element automatically disconnects the motor and shuts the unit off in case of abnormal temperatures, ensuring maximum safety.
To make this heater easily portable, the unit includes top and front carrying handles that are spring-loaded and retractable. It sits atop four heavy-duty rubber feet that resist scratches and wear, and its 20-gauge steel enclosure and 1/4 x 20 bolts provide additional durability and make the heater easily serviceable, equipping it for lasting use. This heater even provides you with the option to create airflow without excess heat thanks to a fan-only switch, protected with the thermostat by a heavy-duty impact guard. A non-mercury tip-over switch acts as an additional safety measure, turning the heater off once it's tilted past a certain angle. A 6' SO cord (no plug) accompanies this heater and resists wear to withstand a commercial environment. This unit requires a 208V, 1 phase electrical connection for operation.
