Furmano's #10 Can Organic Chick Peas (Garbanzo Beans) - 6/Case

We use chickpeas in our ice cream creating a nut free flavor where we roast the chickpeas in the oven and prepare them into our ice cream. We also use the liquid from the can for our baking needs. It makes a great aqua faba. I like this brand, because the aqua faba is thick and it whips up beautiful for meringues.

Awesome! I've always cooked up dried chick peas in the past and these canned organic ones taste great and make for a quick, easy meal! Can't beat that price for sure!

They are too hard and difficult to mash, but these are just perfect for hummus, our salads & wraps and more. We order them by the case pretty often and highly recommend them.

These were very helpful making a large batch of chili today. It was definitely a lot easier to open one large can of Furmano's beans, than it was to open 6 cans of the old stuff. We also rinse the beans to get rid of gas-causing air bubbles in them. These were just as easy to rinse out as our old product, which was not organic but cost more money. I think this is a good choice to switch to, and eat healthier. We normally use Goya beans, but those are not certified organic. Therefore it was important to us that these Furmano's beans were. We do notice a difference in taste. It is a more earthy flavor, which normally happens when you switch from mainstream to organic foods.

I like using these #10 cans for making hummus. I make a whole can's worth and freeze it in small batches. It makes a great healthy snack and I love the taste. So much easier than worrying about soaking and cooking beans.
