Hersheypark is one of our amusement parks in central Pennsylvania. The founder of the chocolate company wanted a place where his employees could just kind of hang out and have some downtime, so he created Hersheypark. And 100 plus years later, it's developed into this amazing destination for people from all over the world to come and see, and we're certainly really proud of it here.
My name's Amelia Graziano. I work at Hersheypark - part of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts - and I'm a Senior Area Manager on the concessions team. This year we decided to go cashless all across the property. So, all of the food, all of the retail, and all of the games outlets are cashless now. So, that was definitely a big win for us to be able to put something like a smart vending machine in. But also just to give our guests a break from - we know that on busy days our lines get pretty long. You know, people don't want to spend all their time waiting for food. So, we wanted to give them another option to just hop into our retail shop where it's nice and cool, there's a short line, and grab a sandwich and a drink, and just kind of get back to enjoying their day quickly.
How was launch? Everything from my experience was really, really easy to learn and really easy to understand. Once we got our credentials, we logged right in, and it was really self-explanatory. From loading the food in to putting all the proper information in, to getting things tagged, it all made a lot of sense, and I was able to pick up on it pretty quickly.
How was the FoodSpot team? Really quick to answer questions that I had. Really fast turnaround for a lot of like, some of the initial concerns we were kind of working through. So, yeah, it was a great experience all around. You guys have been great to work with.
