I purhased this reusable pastry bag from Ateco, wanting something with a little more heft than the disposable bags. The 16" size is really comfortable; I felt like I didn't have to squeeze it as hard for some reason as the disposable bags. If you are sensitive to how fabrics feel, I think you'll be happy with this fabric. It wasn't rough or scratchy, and when you're decorating a whole cake, hand comfort definitely comes into play. If youre using metal couplers, you can use the nut portion of the coupler to determine exactly where to trim the end----it cuts through the bag as you tighten it.
