The 9" inch tongs are my go-to for cooking in pans 12 inches and smaller. It keeps my hand away from the flame but its also small and easier to handle compare to the 12" inch tongs. The tong itself is heavy duty and the stainless steel grade is quality.

Perfect, I searched all over until I found these Edlund tongs. Bought the 16"too! These hold up sooo much better then the cheap ones. It's worth it to pay a little extra for the connivence and durability. The lock is strong and stays in place. Plus they are made right here in the USA! What more could I ask for.

I lied in the review of the 7" tongs, this is the greatest size. But theyre good too. You can replace the springs when they eventually fail, and they'll last another couple years of testing them out.

Heavy duty. Thats the only way to go. It may cost a bit more at first, but they last and you can be rougher with them. Ive gravitated towards this kind of tong my whole career. You can never have too many tongs.

Edlund Series 16" Heavy-Duty Scallop Utility Tongs are very tough tongs i use them nightly on our steak grill and flat grill, and they have been very durable

These tongs are super durable, and the scallops are gentle on food. I also like that they do not have a locking mechanism. It is just one less thing to break.

These are very nice 12 inch metal tongs that have multiple purposes. You can grab meats to cut or helps you shred softer meats. Its sturdy and yet has a loose grip to it. Overall great product.

A couple months ago I purchased the Edlund 16" HD Locking Tongs, the Mercer 5"x4" HD Turner, Mercer 9"x4" fish/egg turner, and the Oxo 2" basting brush for my home outdoor grilling. With these tools I think I am pretty much set for anything for years to come. They are large and high quality. I use their smaller counterparts indoors on my stove.

Never tried Edlund tongs before, but, after reading reviews here, we figured they were worth a try, and we love them. They are terrific for outdoor grilling, keeping hands and fingers well away from the heat. That said, they're strong and sturdy and still allow for a good grip on our food items, allowing for grilling comfort and perfection.

Everyone needs these tongs in their kitchen. Do not bother with the cheaper ones as they bend and break. These ones are heavy and durable.

Very comfortable, stylish and neat look, the quality is excellent. Lungs. In length - just right (do not take up much space). It is very convenient that there is a latch, that is, if you don’t use the forceps, they are in a fixed position, but not opened, which also saves space.

I bought these to supplement the old pair of Edlund's 12" chef's tongs which were leaving me with warm fingers when at the patio grill for any length of time. The 16" reach of these are what you want when dealing with a hot grill or a big camp fire.

Edlund is seriously the gold standard in tongs. They last forever and are probably the most vital piece of equipment in a kitchen. These 16 inch ones are great for longer reaches.

These metal heavy-duty scallop utility tongs are well made and very sturdy. The lock at the base of the handles is helpful and easy to use.

These things are strong enough to grip whole sheet pans or even cast iron pans.The beauty of these is when you shut them the ends are flush with one another so they are made to actually grab things.

The two main reasons for trying this item is the scalloped tip and the flat spring. Wire spring tongs tend to warp way to easy, but flat springs tend to break sooner, so i was glad to see they offer replacement springs. Just bought these so i can't attest to the longevity of this spring. Overall i feel these will be my go to kitchen utensil.

these tongs are super heavy duty grade.we used them for outside grilling and also use for inside as well.you cant beat the price of less then 6 bucks for this heavy of a grade

The tounges are very useful in the kitchen, this model its the best if you want durable and professional use, i like because are strong but not hard to close.

Just purchased these tongs for mixing salad. They are a nice size. I haven't washed them yet, so I''m not sure if they will eventually rust or not. For the price they are nice, but may invest in better-quality ones in the future.
