An ideal alternative to traditional, petroleum-based plastic utensils, the cutlery is BPI certified and made of CPLA (crystalized polylactic acid), a plant- and chalk-based plastic that's formed with renewable resources to minimize environmental impact upon disposal.
Compostable products will turn into nutrient-rich organic materials when disposed of with other compostable items in limited areas where facilities exist, leaving no visible or toxic residue.
This item was manufactured without intentionally added PFAS substances.
This product is certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as compostable in a commercial composting facility.
