Brice Jones: "With just the launch we saved one and a half million straws from our business alone. (We're challenging restaurants to reduce their ocean impact and ditch the plastic straw. Help us keep five hundred million plastic straws out of the ocean in 2017) One small foot ahead of the other is really awesome the way it gets something done. Every bar gets one other bar to do this, you guys should be able to do it within a year."

These are great for cool drinks, but they quickly unwind and come apart in warm or hot liquids. You should see my quick nanosecond stir of sweetener in coffee before adding creamer, to cool it down somewhat before the straw comes apart; even then, I’m usually sucking air before I finish the mug of coffee. From now on I’ll just deal with a very warm stainless steel straw for my coffee and tea, and only use these for iced tea, lemonade, etc.

The look of these straws are really cool. I like the black color and the way they look in cocktails. The thing that surprised me the most was how long they lasted with out getting soggy.
Recently came across these black unwrapped paper sip straws and started using them to make my cake pops with. The black color really just makes the cake pops look so much more fancy and I like the length of these straws.

This is a really great paper straw that adds aesthetic to your drinks and also is eco friendly. So far, I really enjoy using this product and love the quality.
These are typical straws for the home bar. They are okay for stirring cold drinks without ice (or with little ice). They will not take the place of a bar spoon for stirring drinks with a lot of ice. But they will do what straws are supposed to do.
We like the black straws because it fits our look better. The straws are well made. The price is higher than the plastic ones but customers appreciate being eco friendly.
