DoughXpress TXE-W (11228) Details
Press, flatten or bake tortillas in just seconds with the DoughXpress TXE-1620W commercial electromechanical dual-heat stainless steel white dough press. This heavy-duty press is an affordable way to boost production and improve finished products, as it doesn't require an air compressor or the use of hydraulics. Integrated dual-heated platens allow for pressing thinner products, aid in dough flow while keeping it from shrinking, and permit the dough to be pressed straight from the refrigerator. Plus, this press can be used with dual-heat, upper heat only, or no heat, allowing for a wider variety of doughs to be pressed.
This dough press is simple to use and includes all the features for success. Its variable thickness control makes it possible to achieve virtually any desired thickness and ensures consistent thickness throughout the dough. Thanks to its simple design, anyone can use the innovative 16" x 20" platen to produce variable crust sizes up to 16" without prior training. This unit can produce (4) 4" tortillas, (3) 6" tortillas, or (2) 8" tortillas at once. A digital temperature control is included to display the current readings and a digital timer indicates when the dough is finished. These programmable controls also allow you to save press times, temperatures, and press lengths.
For added convenience, the platens are constructed with aluminum to prevent the dough from sticking, and the main body is built with stainless steel for maximum durability. Plus, this unit boasts a swing-out lower platen, so you have open access to the platens without any barriers. This unit requires a 220V electrical connection for operation, and produces an output of 3100W.
