Make accurate air or liquid temperature measurements with the help of this Cooper-Atkins 50416-K type-K bare tip air probe. This type-K thermocouple probe features a bare tip that is perfect for use in very low and high temperature liquids or air streams. While the probe is not recommended for use in food products, it can be installed in the substrates of surfaces or embedded in products for freezing or heating studies. This probe offers an impressive temperature range of -328 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring that it is ready for a wide variety of temperature monitoring tasks.

When used to take liquid measurements, this versatile instrument provides accurate temperature readings in just 1 second. When measuring airflow temperature, its response time is 7 seconds in 5 m/sec air streams. The probe is equipped with an exceptionally long 180" cable with a protective FEP jacket that allows it to withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as allowing for the thermocouple instrument (sold separately) to be installed farther away from the probe tip. In addition to offering excellent thermal stability, FEP also provides resistance to nearly all chemicals.
