Easily gauge the temperature and safety of food products by using the Cooper-Atkins 50209-K microneedle temperature probe. Capable of registering temperatures from -100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, this sensitive probe suits a wide variety of uses and boasts an impressively quick 1 second readout when used in liquid.

Ideal for use with liquids, thin, fragile, or semi-solid foods, such as shrimp, meat patties, or mushrooms, or for sous-vide applications, the device features a 3 1/2" stainless steel shaft with a 1 mm diameter, round-tipped needle, which won't damage delicate food products after insertion. Please keep in mind that because of its 1 mm diameter tip, the probe is very delicate and should be handled with care. Limiting usage to trained professionals is highly recommended.

The probe is attached to a 48" coiled cable that retracts and expands, making it easy to attach to an instrument (sold separately) needed for operation. Plus, in order to ensure that it's readily visible and not easily misplaced or bumped during use, the cable features a bright yellow, polyurethane, outer jacket. This device should not be used with highly acidic or alkaline food products.
